Tucson - A quick trip
Well, Tucson is over. I went wild and purchased well over 100 pounds of small crystal specimens in about a week's time. there are new items that thrilled and old items that dealers no longer loved. All of them ended up coming home in suitcases and post office boxes. After baths(ultrasonics) and showers(high pressure water guns), they are ready for you to enjoy. Here are a few pictures of me an my friends (John and Cookie from Tennessee). I am sure John is busy buying ugly rocks as usual :) and I am just happy to be in Tucson buying too much. |

Lu in Action
For one day in Tucson, I helped out Lu at her booth in the GJX. Wow, so much jewelry and gemstones all in one place. After Lu was tired and not paying attention, I snapped a picture of her being serious and helping a GIA official who was buying unusual gemstones for teaching purposes. |

Finishing up in Denver
Today, I start the long drive home. I've been in Denver for about a week and before that had a horrendous partial move. I will start posting here soon. I promise! Keep an eye on the auctions. Here are a couple pictures from the show... |

The auction adventure gets wilder!
Well, John and I are nearly done with the second test auction of the proxy system version. it seems to be going well and is just a wee bit different than what we were using before. Once this gets in line, I am going to start posting to these pages again. Take care, Keith
ps, the picture is the huge stannite crystal I put in the auction. Nice huh? |
